  • "Visual Controls and Mistake Proof Devices"
    Locking in improvements and engaging your workforce to create high standards
    At the Fonterra Edgecumbe Factory in October this year, New Zealand CTPM Australasia members met to discuss "Visual Controls and Mistake Proof Devices". The visit included a tour of the maintenance facility and planning room at the Edgecumbe site. Some attendees shared examples from other sites and all were impressed with how the Edgecumbe site had applied visual controls and mistake proofing to their maintenance workshop, daily site meetings and planning activities. Attendees were from Cryovac Sealed Air, Norske Skog, NZITO, SCA Hygiene

  • "Getting things Sorted in the Tool Room"

    On Wednesday 26 September 2007, BSTG Australia hosted the Fourth South Australian Region, 2007 TPM3-Australasian Lean Learning Group Network Meeting (LGNM). The meeting theme was "Implementing 5S / Work Area Management (WAM) in the Tool Room" and was attended by delegates representing Boart Longyear, Clipsal, Coopers Brewery, Orrcon Operations, & Trident Plastics.

2006 CTPM Learning Groups

  • New Zealand Bay of Plenty & Waikato Region TPM3 Learning Group Network Meeting
    On Tuesday 9 May 2006, Ballance - Agri Nutrients hosted the New Zealand Bay of Plenty & Waikato Region TPM3 Learning Group Network Meeting at its Mount Maunganui site. A total 14 delegates from Cryovac Sealed Air, FIL New Zealand, Hexion Specialty Chemicals and SCA Hygiene attended the meeting, with two delegates making the trip from Wellington. The meeting discussions focused on achieving zero breakdowns, the various roles and responsibilities of operators and maintenance and how to make the transition.

  • Equipment Competent Operators
    A successful networking meeting was held on Wednesday 22nd February focusing on the benefits of developing equipment competent operators. Hosted by the Simplot Australia's Devonport Packing Room, with representatives from Zinifex Rosebery Mine, ACL Bearing Company, Comalco, and Bonlac Spreyton attended.
